Trip Introduction

Gilgit-Baltistan is home of diversified Cultures, Ethnic groups, languages and backgrounds. The regoin harbors diverse and endangered mountain culture traditions. Historically Gilgit Baltistan  has been aloof from rest of the world and the people life living in the region has been revolving around livestock and agriculture. A variety of culture festivals held in Gilgit Baltistan throughout the year.

The estimated population of Gilgit Baltistan was about 1.8 million in 2015. Gilgit Baltistan was ruled by many local rulers amongst them Maqpons of Skardu and Rajas of Hunza were famous. The Maqpons of Skardu unified Gilgit Baltistan with Chitral, Ladakh. Specially in the era of Ali Sher Khan Anchan who had a friendly relation with Mughal court. Anchan reign brought prosperity in art, sport and variety in architecture. He introduce polo in Gilgit and Chitral region.

Day-01:           Islamabad

Arrival at Islamabad, after meet and greet with our Company representative, transfer to hotel. after some rest in hotel, city tour of Rawalpindi and Islamabad.Rawalpindi is lively bustling city with the crowded streets and colourful bazaars, through its lacks the grand monuments,The bazaar should appeal to anyone with the desire to see the real Pakistan.Islamabad is new Capital 36 years old well-planed city of Pakistan is lush green at the footsteps of Potohar hills.We shall visit Faisal Mosque, Shakar pearian Gardens with a visit to Lok versa,institute of Folk and Traditionl heritage.evening back to hotel for overnight.

Day-02:          Islamabad-Besham.

After breakfast in hotel at Islamabad, we drive to Taxila,visit Taxila meusum and sites,further drive to Besham 267 km ,6-7 hrs,enroute we do our lunch, overnight at hotel.

Day-03:          Besham-Gilgit 1462m

After breakfast in hotel at Besham,we drive via Karakoram highway to Gilgit,391km Highway is most exciting and thrilling.It is a monument to the enginreering feast and one of most spectacular roads and worlds’ highest metalled border crossing.It connects Pakistan and China stretching over a distance of 1300Km between Islamabad and Kashgar.The Karakoram highway was constructed jointly by the Chinese and Pakistani,s. begun in 1960s and finally constructed in 1976.It is an engineering wonder, but cost of many lives. enroute stop at Chilas for lunch,overnight in hotel.

Day-04:          Bagrot Valley Excursion.

We do our breakfast in hotel at Gilgit,drive to Bagrot Valley,almost 2 hours easy drive by Jeep upto Bagrot Valley,after some Tea break in local guest house at Bagrot,we do some hike upto Bagrot Glacier,back to Guest house for Lunch,afternoon drive back to Gilgit,Visit local Bazaar in Gilgit.dinner and overnight at hotel in Gilgit

Day-05:           Gilgit-Karimabad 2500m

After breakfast,we drive to Kargha,A visit to Gilgit and its bazaar will give you an opportunity to become acquainted with mountain people.Situated 15 km southwest of Gilgit is Kargah,a small Valley with several large rock carvings of Lord Buddha.It is not known exactly when the carvings were completed, but the workmanship is definitely that of a talented master.It is likely that a trade route linking southern China with the neighbouring countries once ran through the region.After lunch we drive to Karimabad,70km almost one and half hrs drive,on the way to Hunza we stop at Rakaposhi 7788m View point for a cup of Tea, proceed to Karimabad.dinner and overnight at hotel.

Day-06:           Hunza Sightseeing.

Early in the morning we drive to Duiker for sun rising on the top of some beautiful mountains, including Rakaposhi Peak 7788m, Diran Peak 7266m Ultar Peak 7388m,Golden Peak 7027m and Lady finger Peak, We do our breakfast at Eagle Nest hotel Duiker with some Panoramic views down to Hunza and Nagar Valley,s.Proceed to Altit Village,Visit over 900 years old Altit Fort,We walk to Karimabad, Visit more then 700 years old Baltit Fort,Lunch at Local restaurant,back to hotel for some rest,evening visit bazaar in Karimabad.overnight at hotel.

Day-07:           Khunjerab Pass 4737m Excursion

After breakfast we drive to Khunjerab Pass 4737m,Pakistan China border,179km almost 3 hrs drive, In the olden days there were few high passes leading from china that were suitable for Travel, Today the Khunjerab Pass,which at an altitude of 4737m is the highest point on the Karakoram Highway,provides an easy all.weather entry from Pakistan to Famous Sinkiang Province of the peoples Republic of China.We do our packed lunch at Khunjerab Pass,drive back to Gulmit for overnight.

Day-08:           Gulmit Day Hike

After breakfast in hotel,we drive to Gulkin Village,start hiking on Gulkin Glacier to Borit Lake,Its almost 1-2 hrs hike upto Borit lake with some beautiful view,s.we do our Lunch at Borit Lake.its a beautiful Lake under Mountains,afternoon drive back to Gulmit,Visit Village,meet the local people and see the Culture,dinner and overnight at hotel.

Day-09:           Gulmit-Hoper Valley-Hunza

After breakfast we drive to Hoper Valley,some hike to hoper Glacier,Lunch at Hoper,proceed to Karimabad, transfer to hotel,afternoon visit local bazaar,dinner at hocal Resturant,overnight at hotel.
Day-10:           Karimabad-Minapin

After breakfast at hotel,we Visit Hunza Carpet house,where local Woman,s and Mens making local carpets, we also visit some old traditional houses at Hunza and meet local people,see the famous Culture of Hunzakuz,after Lunch proceed to Minapin,Nagar Valley.overnight in Guest house.

Day-11:           Day hike to Rakaposhi base Camp.

After breakfast,hike to Rakaposhi base camp at an altitude of 3700m.Rakaposhi is 27th highest Mountain in the world and 12th highest in Pakistan ,at an Elevation of 7788m.3-4 hrs hike to base camp,we do our lunch here,some stunning views of Rakaposhi and Diran Peak,back to Minapin at the afternoon. dinner and overnight in hotel.

Day-12 Minapin-Gilgit

After breakfast we drive to Gilgit,1-2 hrs drive,afternoon sightseeing in Gilgit,overnight in hotel.

Day 13 Gilgit-Besham

We drive to Besham via Karakoram highway,331km almost 8-9 hrs.enroute lunch at Dassu, proceed to Besham,overnight in hotel.

Day-14 Besham-Islamabad.

Breakfast in hotel,drive to Islamabad,267km almost 6-7 hrs drive,on the way we stop for lunch at Abbott abad,a nice planed City,further drive to Islamabad,overnight in hotel.

Day-15. Fly homeland.

Free day at Rawalpindi and Islamabad for shopping,after dinner Transfer to airport for fly back homeland, end of Services and Goodbye.
